paintless dent repair training home > PDR questions Frequently Asked Questions Can a person make a living doing PDR repairs? How many vehicles should I be able to fix
per day upon completion of the two week training course?
Practice improves speed. Upon completion
of the two week course you should be able to fix 2-3 units per day depending
upon the positioning and the severity of the damage. Will I be able to perform paintless dent repairs
when I finish this course?
We guarantee
that you will have the skills required to perform PDR repairs at the
completion of our two week course. Our
paintless dent repair training classes are specifically designed
to cater to everyone’s learning skills and are intentionally small
to ensure that “one-on-one” training experience. Do you offer one week classes?
We offer one week classes for those with previous
autobody experience and those who cannot leave their place of employment
for a consecutive two week period. However, we strongly recommend
a second week within a month of your initial training.
You must complete the entire course to perform a professional
finish repair. Are you a franchise? Canadian
Dent is not a franchise. We do not charge franchise fees or take residuals of your income.
After completion of your PDR training with
Canadian Dent, how much you earn is up to you. FREE 24 hr. telephone
support for up to one year is included with your training package. How many students per class?
Classes are booked with a maximum of 3 students per instructor unless special circumstances warrant a
change in the ratio. How often do the classes run?
Classes are offered on the first and third Monday of
every month. What are the class hours? 9:00am-5:00pm
Monday to Friday. Where statutory holidays occur, hours are added in order to complete the required training
time. Do you require a deposit? A $1000 deposit
is required upon booking and is refundable
up to thirty days before the class date. Classes fill very quickly.
To secure your desired class date book now. Is there support available once my training is finished?
One year of FREE 24hr telephone support is included with your training
package. Can I train longer than two weeks if I desire? Yes.
Although we have found the two week classes to be sufficient, if you would
like to stay longer just let us know. Do you train on-site? Yes. If your company
is training multiple students, Canadian Dent will personalize an on-site
paintless dent removal training
package. Do you use props for training? No.
Props do not teach proper access techniques. Canadian Dent uses real
vehicles to shorten your learning curve. Is the training completely "hands-on"
or is desk classroom time included? You will retain the
PDR process with ease using Canadian Dent's learn-by-doing approach .
Notes are not required. What is the maximum size of dent that can be repaired
using PDR? A repairable dent is always based on the type, location
and skill level of the technician. Large dents are not always the most
difficult to fix.
